Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks a dispatch coordinator for the 2nd shift (3:00 pm to 11:30 pm) to coordinate scheduling and delivery operations. You will communicate with drivers via computers, phones, or radios and assign drivers to trucks to ensure on-time departures and arrivals.

The role requires 1–2 years in dispatch or a related area, with a High School Diploma or GED. Day 1 benefits, PTO, and growth opportunities are offered in a supportive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 1-2 years dispatch and/or commercial driver experience or related area.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers and track route progress via available technology.
• Check drivers in/out at terminals and log trip records.
• Communicate daily with drivers and respond to customer requests.
• Calculate miles and determine travel times to manage delivery costs.
• Monitor On-Time performance and Driver Hours of Service (HOS).
• Assist in scheduling PTO and covering call-offs and related duties.
