Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) seeks a 2nd shift dispatcher to coordinate delivery operations. You will assign drivers, monitor routes, and stay in touch with drivers to resolve delays. This role supports a broad customer base across the foodservice sector.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years dispatch and/or commercial driver experience.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers and coordinate with them to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Track driver progress and document trip records.
• Communicate with drivers daily and handle customer requests.
• Calculate miles and determine travel times for delivery costs.
• Monitor on-time performance and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance.
• Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance and assist scheduling PTO/call-offs.
