Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott is seeking a motivated PM Line/Prep Cook to join our culinary team in a full-time capacity with up to 40 hours per week. Evening (PM) shifts are required in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

You will prepare and cook menu items, inspect ingredients, maintain safety and cleanliness, and assist with ordering and inventory. Competitive pay plus gratuities with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items following standardized recipes and guest specifications to ensure consistent quality.
• Inspect, select, and use quality food ingredients in all preparations.
• Monitor food storage, rotation, and product conditions to maintain freshness and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, storage, and work areas in compliance with health regulations.
• Ensure food presentation and plating standards meet company expectations.
• Receive and properly store delivered products according to food safety guidelines.
• Assist kitchen management with ordering and inventory tasks.
• Perform routine cleaning duties and maintain safe working conditions.
• Keep floors clean and dry to prevent workplace hazards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding issues or operational needs.
