Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team in Greenville. You will prepare all food items per standardized recipes for Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets, while upholding high cleanliness and safety standards.

The role requires culinary experience, flexibility with hours, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must maintain portions, stock, and sanitation per hotel guidelines.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience required in a hotel or related field.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Ability to stand during entire shift and withstand temperature variations.
• Thorough knowledge of menus and hotel standards.
• Proficiency in cooking techniques including charbroiling and roasting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
• Prepare and display buffet items according to hotel standards.
• Prepare foods following standard recipes for restaurant, room service and Banquets.
• Support any position in the kitchen as needed.
• Follow Health Department and company safety regulations.
