Job summary

Hotel Emma in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Regular Full-Time Line Cook to join the culinary team. You will set up your station, prepare mise en plas, and cook to order, adhering to Chef's specifications and recipes.

You will supervise line staff on shift, assist with banquet production, and ensure safe, clean work areas. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience and/or training.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and follow hotel policies.

Responsibilities

• Set up station and mise en plas to Chef specifications and recipes.
• Cook and prepare food to order on a daily basis.
• Expedite banquets with little or no supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and storage areas; ensure safety and health standards.
• Coordinate line crew to meet kitchen standards; report issues to Chef on duty.
