Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current standards to ensure high-quality food service.
• Follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, and serving items.
• Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements and check production to plan production.
• Significant walking or other mobility is required throughout shifts.
• Readiness to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds, with occasional 50 pounds.
• Attend shifts on time and support team in a fast-paced environment.
