Job summary

Community First Solutions is seeking a Staff Nurse RN to provide direct bedside care, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to support residents’ health and well-being.

You will mentor caregivers, promote a safe, person-centered environment, and lead at the bedside to foster excellence in care. This full-time role includes 7:00pm–7:00am shifts with weekend/holiday rotation and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have an active license in the state of Ohio with authorization to pass medications.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Current Instructor-Led CPR Certification (or willing to obtain upon hire).
• Previous experience in long-term care/geriatrics preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
• A positive attitude and passion for working with the elderly
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work every 3rd weekend and holidays.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required to protect our team and our clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement and manage resident-driven care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by Medical Director or Resident physician
• Provide direct leadership, supervision, and support to RA’s and STNA’s
• Document pertinent information following established clinical policies and procedures
• Effectively communicates with residents, family members, and co-workers
• Protects the health and safety of residents
