Job summary

Community First Solutions is seeking a Staff Nurse RN to provide direct bedside care, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to support residents’ health and well-being.

You will mentor caregivers, lead at the bedside, and help create a safe, person-centered environment. The role includes 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday rotation, with a starting pay of $33.00/hour and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have an active license in the state of Ohio with authorization to pass medications.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Current Instructor-Led CPR Certification (or willing to obtain upon hire).
• Previous experience in long-term care/geriatrics preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
• A positive attitude and passion for working with the elderly.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work every 3rd weekend and holidays.
• COVID-19 vaccination to protect our team and our clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement and manage resident-driven care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by Medical Director or Resident physician.
• Provide direct leadership, supervision, and support to RA’s and STNA’s.
• Document pertinent information following established clinical policies and procedures.
• Effectively communicates with residents, family members, and co-workers.
• Protects the health and safety of residents.
