Job summary

Homestead Village is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead a team of LPNs and caregivers in a 58-bed skilled nursing setting. The role features a schedule designed for work/life balance, with every third weekend and two 12-hour shifts per week.

The ideal candidate has geriatric nursing experience, strong leadership skills, and a compassionate, teaching-friendly approach. A $7,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible hires, with base pay determined by experience and licensure.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state where employment occurs.
• Geriatrics experience preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct resident care per nursing guidelines.
• Observe and report changes to supervisor/physician/family.
• Coordinate orders and transcribe promptly.
• Coach caregivers to maintain outstanding care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.
• Participate in policy development to improve care.
• Assist in training and supervising staff.
