Job summary

Area Substance Abuse Council in Clinton, IA is seeking a Lead Recovery Support Professional to supervise patients in residential activities, support the RSP team, and ensure safety and quality of care.

You will coordinate medication procedures, exams, transportation, daily logs, and on-call coverage, while modeling professional conduct for the team. A high school diploma/GED and experience in human services are required.

Qualifications

• This position requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in human services or residential settings is needed.
• Prior experience as a manager or shift leader is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patients in residential activities such as meals, school programming, free time, safety, and daily logs.
• Aid the supervisor in training all Recovery Support Professionals.
• Ensure group programming is professional and supervised.
• Coordinate medication control procedures and schedule patient exams.
• Coordinate the patient transportation program and monitor facility cleanliness and safety.
• Adopt on-call responsibilities and cover staff absences as needed.
• Document incident, accident, TB documentation, and related daily logs.
