Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks an evening-shift, full-time Lead Radiology Technician in Montclair, NJ. The role involves scrubbing in on cardiac, neurological, and vascular cases with the ability to monitor hemodynamics and support physicians and RNs.

Responsibilities include prepping the room, handling equipment and supplies, and training new hires in a cooperative hospital-wide team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program with NJ RT licensure.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Radiologic Tech.
• ARRT Certification required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to direct patient care.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in on Cardiac, Neurology, and Vascular cases with the ability to monitor hemodynamics.
• Assist by scrubbing in procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data.
• Ensure procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of instruments and supplies at par levels.
• Assist in training new hires.
