Job summary

Penn Medicine's HUP Central Fill Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a Lead Pharmacist for the full-time evening shift (4pm–12:30am). The role focuses on day-to-day management, staffing, inventory, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the pharmacy services.

Strong leadership and patient-centered operations are essential to optimize outcomes. Required qualifications include PA Pharmacist License, a PharmD or Bachelor's in Pharmacy, and at least two years of hospital pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• Active PA Pharmacist License required.
• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Minimum 2 years hospital pharmacy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of the designated area, including staffing, scheduling and performance.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee inventory management and coordination of pharmacy services.
• Maintain daily workflow and ensure smooth shift transitions.
• Address staff performance and operational issues with leadership escalation as needed.
