Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a clinical diagnostics laboratory.
• Prior supervisory experience managing several direct reports.
• Understanding of laboratory operations, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operational activities of the hospital laboratory.
• Manage departmental staffing and production schedule.
• Ensure laboratory compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Recruit, hire, manage performance, and develop staff.

Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, AABB regulations

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Medical Technology

Medical Laboratory Science accreditation (NACCLS)
