Responsibilities

• Perform the daily activities as described below.
• Sort, receive, and manage specimens in the department.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance on some equipment.
• Prepare reagents and media; prepare specimens at workstations for testing.
• Build worklists, aliquot specimens, check clots and fibrin, inoculate, slide preparation.
• Perform QA/QC duties as assigned and resolve pending lists.
• Find missing samples and decontaminate work areas.
• Perform weekly radioactive wipe tests and maintain department records.

Education
