Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing in Omaha, NE is hiring a Laboratory Technician I for a Tue-Sat shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm. You will perform routine laboratory testing, record data, and ensure timely turnaround while adhering to quality and safety standards.

The role requires a HS Diploma, with a BA preferred. Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required. Offered benefits include medical, dental, vision, Life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• BA degree recommended but not required.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• AS or BS Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Reads, understands and follows management system requirements including ISO/IEC 17025/AOAC ALACC.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations; maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Register incoming samples and maintain accurate records for quality control.
• Enter sample data into the eLIMS system accurately and timely.
