Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is hiring a Laboratory Technician I in Omaha, NE. You will perform routine analytical tests under supervision, ensure data accuracy in the eLIMS system, and help maintain quality and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025.

The role emphasizes timely sample processing, safety, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. A BA is recommended; AS/BS in related fields preferred; US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• BA degree recommended but not required.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• AS or BS Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field. Experience in plating, plate reading, and sample preparation.

Responsibilities

• Register incoming samples and maintain neat, accurate records.
• Enter sample data into the eLIMS system accurately.
• Complete laboratory testing on all incoming samples in a timely manner.
• Verify results and report to appropriate personnel.
• Identify process difficulties and propose solutions to supervisor.
