Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing in West Sacramento is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support our environmental testing operations. This entry-level role performs general lab tasks under QA and SOPs.

Responsibilities include sample prep, maintaining chain of custody, preparing reagents, calibrating pipettes, labeling, logging results, and keeping work areas clean. Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic chemistry coursework, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• High school Chemistry coursework and basic laboratory experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, production environment.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking).

Responsibilities

• Retrieves samples from Sample Control and maintains chain of custody.
• Performs sample preparation (aliquoting, spike and trace, preparing reagents).
• Label samples and maintain proper labeling; prepare concentrations and establish traceability.
• Calibrate pipettes and balances daily and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Keep glassware, bench sheets, and logbooks clean and up to date; dispose of waste properly.
• Support Eurofins QA/ESG standards and maintain general housekeeping.
• Stock laboratory supplies and assist other lab areas as needed.
