Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support daily lab operations, including cleaning, preparation and stock management. This role involves working with chemicals and laboratory glassware, and requires strict adherence to SOPs and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and fluent English. Prior lab experience and strong organizational abilities are pluses for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient computer skills required
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Follows SOPs and instructions
• Performs routine laboratory cleaning
• Disposes chemical waste using approved methods
• Keeps work area clean and organized
• Enters data into LIMS
• Washes and inventories glassware and equipment
• Maintains training records
• Completes QC samples on schedule (MDL, LOD/LOQ, PT)
• Attends work regularly and punctually
• Ensures health and safety standards are followed
• Assists in other lab areas as needed
• Prepares reagents and spikes as needed
• Performs extractions as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned
