Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing America in Edison, NJ is hiring an Entry Level Lab Technician I to support laboratory operations using general methods and QA procedures. You will assist with sample prep, data entry, and maintenance of workspace and equipment.

This full-time role shifts Mon-Fri 7:00am–3:30pm with overtime as needed. Compensation is $17.50 per hour; college degree not required for this entry-level position. Training is provided to help you start a career in the lab environment.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of chemistry or general science.
• Basic mathematical skills and data entry ability.
• Ability to perform production-style lab tasks with accuracy.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Prepare reagents, aliquot samples, and perform preparatory steps.
• Label samples correctly and resolve discrepancies.
• Document analysis results and track samples in logbooks.
• Wash glassware and stock laboratory supplies.
• Assist other laboratory areas as needed.
