Job summary

SGS North America Inc. in Wheat Ridge, CO is seeking an environmental Lab Technician to join the General Chemistry team on 2nd shift. The role focuses on wet chemistry testing and sample preparation with accuracy to meet daily production targets.

The position offers a $2 per hour shift differential for 3:00pm–12:00am and a pay range of $21–$23 per hour, with standard safety practices and opportunities for professional development within the SGS laboratory network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 0-2 years of experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories.
• Associates Degree in Chemistry or similar scientific discipline with 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Advanced English language skills, basic math and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis according to SGS SOPs using basic instrumentation.
• Perform routine operation, maintenance and calibration of prep instruments.
• May assist with validation and MDL studies.
• Input and maintain technical information to support lab operations.
• Maintain Laboratory Notebook and adhere to internal standards.
• Perform other duties as required.
