Qualifications

• Associate degree in medical laboratory technology, medical laboratory science or clinical laboratory science with four (4) years of lab training or experience, or both in nonwaived testing, in the designated specialty/sub-specialty area.
• Bachelor's degree in chemical or biological science with two (2) years of lab training or experience, or both in nonwaived testing, in the designated specialty/sub-specialty area.
• Foreign educated candidates must provide a credential evaluation from IERF or other recognized agency to determine eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of MLT/MLS duties with a high level of competency and assist with supervision of the section/shift.
• Support quality control and assurance procedures and ensure documentation meets accrediting standards.
• Monitor inventory and participate in cost analysis and workflow improvements.
• Provide coaching and input for competency assessments and staff training.
• Act as a liaison for on-site communication and system integration within the department.
