Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or related field.
• ASCP (or equivalent) registered certification required.
• Experience in clinical laboratory management or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department operations and staff, including scheduling and timecard reviews.
• Provide training, competency assessments, and performance evaluations.
• Support QC/QA programs and regulatory compliance (JCAHO, CLIA, CAP).
• Manage budget, supply expenses, and cost analyses for the department.
• Develop and update laboratory policies, procedures, and quality initiatives.
• Lead process improvements to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
• Collaborate with leadership to mentor staff and achieve goals.
