Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Lab Supervisor for the Cleveland, OH area. You will oversee department activities, schedule staff, and ensure adherence to clinical laboratory standards while directing a 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM shift.

Required experience includes 4–6 years as a medical technologist in a clinical lab, with supervisory experience preferred and ASCP certification preferred. Benefits include comprehensive medical, retirement contributions, and education support.

Qualifications

• Four to six years full-time experience as a medical technologist or equivalent in a clinical laboratory.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities of the department, distribute/assign work, determine priorities, schedule non-routine procedures.
• Supervise staff: interview, hire, train, and provide performance evaluations.
• Conduct advanced/specialized tests and monitor quality-control measures.
