Job summary

St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a Lab III Supervisor to lead the evening shift, overseeing 15-20 staff including Lab Associates and MLT/MLS personnel.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, scheduling, accreditation compliance, and maintaining a strong leadership presence to support staff and operations. The role requires a BS in physical or life science, MLS-ASCP or equivalent, and 2–5 years of supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• BS in physical or life science or related field.
• MLS-ASCP or equivalent certification.
• 2–5 years of laboratory supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 15-20 direct reports during evening shift.
• Monitor employee performance and scheduling.
• Ensure accreditation compliance.
• Manage QA/QC, equipment maintenance and workflow oversight.
• Develop procedures and train staff as needed.
