PathAdvantage is seeking a Lab Accessioner/Processor to join our clinical lab team. The role handles specimen accessioning, sorting and data entry in a fast-paced environment, ensuring specimen integrity and proper routing to testing sections.

You will follow CAP/CLIA receiving guidelines, perform data entry into LIS, and maintain safety practices while supporting a smooth workflow under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; laboratory experience preferred.
• Interest in science and medicine is a plus.
• Follows CAP and CLIA receiving guidelines and safety policies.

Responsabilités

• Receiving, sorting and handling of gynecologic specimens.
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective Laboratory section.
• Data Entry – entering patient information and procedure names into LIS.
• Processing Cytology specimens while maintaining CLIA/CAP guidelines.
• Adhere to quality control guidelines and safety practices.
• Document discrepancies during receiving and generate lists for testing.
