Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Driver's license required.
• Data entry skills and organizational abilities; ability to work under stressful conditions.
• Three years in a high-volume environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift activities and schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage.
• Supervise and counsel staff; provide input on performance for annual appraisals; conduct competency assessments.
• Act as liaison between lab assistants and technologists to ensure efficient workflow.
• Document all activities; maintain competency and training of staff.
• Lead the area in absence of the manager; monitor workflow and look for process improvements.
