Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee operations in the Blood Services division at BDMC. You will hire, train, and evaluate staff, manage workflow, and ensure compliance with CAP, CMS, AABB, FDA and CLIA standards.

Responsibilities include budget-informed resource planning, waste reduction, and leading cross-functional task forces to improve service quality and efficiency. OSHA compliance and staff development are also emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
• MLS or Specialty Certification.
• One year supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and evaluate staff; supervise workflow and resolve problems.
