Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Lab Assistant II in Anderson, IN, working Wednesday to Wednesday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM. The role involves performing routine laboratory tasks to assist staff and ensure precise results.

The position requires 1 year of relevant lab experience, ability to handle specimens, operate LIS, and comply with safety procedures. Shift differential may apply for second/third shifts, with bonus and comprehensive benefits offered.

Competenze

• One year of full-time experience in a technical or clinical laboratory.

Mansioni

• Perform specimen receiving, labeling, handling and preparation.
• Assist with pre-analytical preparation of specimens and load automated instruments.
• Record digital temperature and notify licensed personnel if out of range.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance on some equipment.
• Enter data in laboratory information systems (LIS).
• Complete training and competency checklists as appropriate.
