Job summary

Independence Village of Pella is seeking a part-time dishwasher to join our kitchen team. You will wash and unload dishes, pots, pans, silverware, and equipment, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.

Shifts run 10am–6pm or 4pm–7:30pm; prior dishwashing is preferred but not required. We value friendliness, teamwork, and clear communication as essential to helping our residents and staff enjoy a smooth dining experience.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be friendly, display a positive attitude and have good teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Wash and unload dishes, pots, pans, silverware, china, utensils and equipment.
• Stock soap towels and paper products throughout the kitchen.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.
