Job summary

The University of Oklahoma's Cross Restaurants is seeking a food preparation team member to support diverse concepts across the campus dining program. You will prepare items according to recipes, ensure proper portion control, weigh ingredients, and operate commercial kitchen equipment.

Performance is expected during late-night closing shifts with emphasis on safety and guest service. Responsibilities include serving guests, transporting items to serving lines, and maintaining clean, sanitized

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months of restaurant kitchen/cooking experience.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food following recipes and applying portion control.
• Weigh and combine ingredients for quantity preparation of menu items.
• Use ovens, knives, peelers, dicers, slicers, mixers, and other heavy/industrial equipment.
• Serve food courteously and knowledgeably to customers.
• Load, carry, and transport hot or cold food items to serving lines or dining areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Assist with special events and other staff as needed.
