Job summary

Lorain County JVS LCJVS District in Oberlin, Ohio seeks an IT Tech Support to provide part-time evening assistance. You will diagnose PC hardware, troubleshoot Windows and Office, and handle printer/copier issues while collaborating with the technology team.

The role requires a High School Diploma with relevant certifications or experience, strong problem-solving, and teamwork. Some lifting and variable schedules may be needed; reports to the Director of Technology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to diagnose and repair PC hardware.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve Microsoft Windows issues.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve Microsoft Office issues.
• Ability to troubleshoot large printers and copiers.
• Knowledge of computers and networks.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity basics and patch management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to meet deadlines and work well in a team.
• Willingness to lift, push or pull items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support during evenings and part-time hours as needed.
• Diagnose and repair PC hardware and Windows/Office issues.
• Troubleshoot printers and copiers and assist with network-related tasks.
• Communicate effectively with staff and document actions taken.
