CJ Logistics America is hiring an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse efficiency in a hybrid operating environment. The role focuses on cycle counts, data accuracy, and coordinating with receiving, shipping, and inventory control teams.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and inventory tracking.
• Ability to manage multiple inventory items and priorities simultaneously.
• Skilled in identifying discrepancies and solving problems through logical reasoning.
• Effective verbal and written communication for reporting and team coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; adaptable to learn warehouse systems.
• Understanding of FIFO, cycle counting, and stock rotation.
• Flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse environment.
• Team-oriented with ability to collaborate across departments.
• Strong accountability and independence in managing responsibilities.
• Basic math and reading skills for task execution.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.
• Capable of interpreting written and verbal instructions and performing basic root cause analysis.
• Prior forklift experience and ability to pass forklift assessment.
• Experience with AS400 and/or other WMS.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits; reconcile variances.
• Input and maintain inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Prepare and manage documentation for inventory transactions.
• Assist with receiving shipments and updating records; support order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free warehouse environment.
• Identify inventory issues and propose process improvements.
• Perform product and location audits; resolve inconsistencies.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring inventory issues.
• Support initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Trace and resolve inventory discrepancies using system tools.
• Manage damaged goods process and disposition.
• Identify items under quality hold and document disposition.
• Execute inventory transfers to support production and fulfillment.
• Perform other related warehouse tasks as assigned.
• Safely operate forklifts and related equipment.
