Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Imaging Support/Registration team member to assist in patient preparation, transportation, and monitoring for imaging procedures. Focused on patient-centered care, you will communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff while registering patients and keeping EPIC/PACS systems up to date.

Responsibilities include assisting technologists, maintaining equipment cleanliness, and following safety guidelines as part of a collaborative imaging department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification required per American Heart Association.
• Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter training required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate accurate information to patients and families at hand-offs and other times as needed.
• Assist in phone communications with other departments and providers.
• Register patients for imaging procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and department.
• Support the Technologist with ancillary tasks and department operations.
