Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking an imaging support technician to augment the technical and nursing staff around imaging procedures. Under direct oversight, you will assist with patient care during procedure room turnover and department workflow, including transporting patients, getting them on/off imaging equipment, and assisting with IV setup and interventional procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• I.V. set up skills preferred.
• Mandatory OSHA training annually.

Responsibilities

• Stage patients for imaging procedures and document clinical information.
• Transport patients, position on table, and assist during procedures.
• Discontinue IV after procedures and prepare room for next case.
• Assist nursing and technical staff during invasive procedures.
