Job summary

Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant for the part-time, evening shift (3pm-10:30pm). The role supports patients and imaging workflows by retrieving, organizing and entering exam data into the EMS.

You will handle clerical tasks, coordinate with departments, physicians and staff, and provide courteous customer service. Required qualifications include basic medical terminology and at least one year of clerical or customer service

Qualifications

• Basic medical terminology coursework or completed within 6 months.
• At least 1 year clerical or customer service experience.
• Experience in medical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and direct patients in the imaging workflow.
• Retrieve, organize, and input digital images into EMS.
• Manage software and coordinate with departments, physicians, and staff.
• Provide clerical, telephonic, and customer service support.
