Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic medical terminology coursework or completion within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year clerical or customer service experience.
• Preferred: associate degree in medical field, Providence Internship, or coursework in medical terminology/anatomy.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist and direct patients while retrieving, organizing and inputting digital images and exam information into the EMS.
• Responsible for all applicable software and interacts with multiple departments, staff, physicians and patients.
• Performs clerical tasks requiring strong customer service and telephonic communication.
