Job summary

Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR is seeking a part-time Diagnostic Imaging Assistant for evening hours (3pm-10:30pm). The role supports patients, retrieves and inputs digital images into EMS, and manages related software with interactions across departments and staff.

Strong clerical and customer service skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include an associate's degree in the medical field or Providence Internship, plus experience with medical terminology and EMR

Qualifications

Coursework/training: basic medical terminology, or completed within 6 months of hire.
1 year of clerical or customer service experience.
Associate's degree in medical field or 1 year medical/clerical experience preferred.
Providence Internship completed preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist and direct patients while retrieving, organizing and inputting digital images into EMS.
Manage software and interface with multiple departments, staff, physicians and patients.
Provide extensive clerical, telephonic and customer service support.
Maintain EMS data accuracy and ensure smooth imaging workflow.
