Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Greenwood, SC is hiring an Assembly Technician II for MVA LV Barrier production at our new facility. Core hours are Mon–Thu 4:30 pm–1:30 am and Fri 3:30 pm–7:30 pm, with training on first shift during the first ~90 days. A variable pay incentive program is available.

Salaries are guideline-based and depend on skills and experience. Eligible candidates will assemble, wire, and modify components per guidelines, using electrical/mechanical drawings and

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Skilled with hand and air tools.
• 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• No immigration sponsorship.
• Within 50-mile radius of Greenwood, SC.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and modify work per guidelines for medium/high voltage assemblies.
• Follow manufacturing information, drawings, and written/oral instructions.
• Fill ISO, quality, customer checklists and production lists as required.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations.
• Regularly lift and assemble heavy copper parts.
• Report shortages to Kanban inventory operators.
• Inspect assemblies for loose hardware and cleanliness.
• Respond to change notices and customer adjustments.
• Assist engineering/drafting with development work.
• Train and coach colleagues for knowledge transfer.
