Schwan’s Company in Stilwell, OK is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage day-to-day HR functions including staffing, employee relations, onboarding, and related programs at our Stilwell facility. The role operates on a 2:00 PM–11:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday, with a focus on delivering compliant HR programs and supporting plant operations.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years HR experience, be fluent in Spanish, and understand compensation,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3+ years HR related experience.
Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish.
Basic knowledge of HR plans, programs and procedures related to compensation and benefits, staffing and workforce relations training, etc.
Knowledge of federal, state, and other regulatory standards related to various HR disciplines.

Responsibilities

Resolves routine employee problems or issues related to traditional employee relations matters. Interprets HR plans and policies for employees and provides advice to management.
Recruits, screens and interviews internal or external candidates for vacant positions and conducts new employee orientation.
Executes engagement strategies across the plant.
Assists in the performance management and salary planning process by creating reports for HR leadership and training support.
Coordinates learning and development opportunities.
Acts as a resource for HR special projects.
Maintains confidential employee data and files.
