The Hotel Maintenance Engineer at Elliot Park Hotel in Minneapolis, MN performs preventive maintenance, installations and repairs to guest rooms and public areas to ensure safety, reliability and guest satisfaction. This role requires hands-on technical skills, strong prioritization, and the ability to work under pressure in a hotel setting.

Applicants should have prior engineering or maintenance experience with relevant certifications and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Previous engineering/maintenance experience or equivalent training.
• Specialized knowledge and skills or certification within a field such as plumbing, electrician, carpentry, equipment mechanics, HVAC, refrigeration, or similar.
• Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Lead actions from service calls in a timely fashion and to hotel standards.
• Collaborate with departments and communicate through GXP.
• Assess requests and provide solutions through repair, maintenance, alteration, or new install.
• Determine defects, troubleshoot malfunctions, take corrective action, and log actions.
• Perform preventative maintenance of all equipment and keep logs.
• Handle all repairs of equipment including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
• Install, replace, and program guest room areas (TVs, thermostats, minibars, lighting, plumbing fixtures, furniture, wall coverings).
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction and uphold hotel values of ownership, innovation, craft, respect, and community.
• All other duties as requested.
