Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis University Area Hotel is seeking a Part Time Engineer to support our busy season. You will respond to guest maintenance requests, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and cleanliness of all areas.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in commercial facilities or hospitality, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow guidelines. You will clock in/out on schedule and work varied shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred.
• Must have positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns.
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must have a desire to serve all guests.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Clock in/out on time and clock out at scheduled end; never work off the clock.
• Clock in/out for breaks at designated times.
• Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift.

Responsabilités

• Repair Requests: Respond to guest requests for general repairs and document completion.
• Preventative Maintenance Process: Keep PMs up to date and on schedule.
• Safety and Health Codes: Follow safety measures and report emergencies.
• Full Property Walks: Conduct at start and end of shift and note needs.
• Maintenance Area Upkeep: Keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
