Omni Viking Lakes Hotel in Minnesota is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel environment. You will inspect facilities, maintain electrical and mechanical systems, and manage budgets while coordinating projects and responding to work requests.

The role requires strong electrical knowledge, 5+ years of experience, and a commitment to health and safety in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in relevant vocational training or apprenticeship as an electrician. Valid license to practice profession.
• Minimum five years’ experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems. HVAC professional certification preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating).
• Willingness to abide by health & safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to assist guests with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.

Responsabilités

• Inspect facilities periodically and perform maintenance on building systems.
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment and manage budgets.
• Coordinate renovations and projects and respond to work requests.
• Maintain logs and reports of daily activities and repairs.
• Ensure safety procedures and enclosures for electrical systems are up to code.
