Job summary

NCG Hospitality is hiring an Evening Hotel Cook for a part-time role at our Flagstaff property. You will cook and plate dishes, maintain inventory, and ensure cleanliness during 5pm–10pm shifts, Friday through Monday.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of food and beverage experience required.
• Ability to work 2-3 shifts per week (Friday–Monday, 5pm–10pm).
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks food, ensuring attractive plate presentation.
• Know menu and recipes, including preparation procedures, plating, portions, and special instructions.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and date all incoming products.
• Keep lines and storage stocked with necessary items and utensils.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitize work surfaces and equipment.
• Organize storage areas (dry and refrigerated) and keep them clean.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Prepares and cooks food, ensuring attractive plate presentation
• Possess complete knowledge of menu and recipes, including preparation procedures, plating, garnishment, portions size and presentation / special handling instructions
• Maintains first in / first out inventory controls and dates all incoming products
• Keeps the lines and storage stocked with all items and utensils needed for service
• Maintains a clean kitchen by cleaning all work surfaces used in food preparation on an ongoing basis, as well as the kitchen equipment used daily
• Maintains all food storage areas, dry and refrigerated, organized and clean
