Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Scottsdale North is seeking a Morning Hotel Cook to join our team in Scottsdale. Starting at $20/hour, with potential for higher wage for experienced candidates, and a minimum of 1 year of cooking experience required.

Availability Monday through Friday 5am–11am is needed. We offer a path to growth within a award-winning workplace environment, mentorship, and opportunities across our network.

• Ability to maintain high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks food with attractive plate presentation.
• Knowledge of menu and recipes including preparation procedures and portion sizes.
• Maintains inventory controls and organizes storage and utensils for service.
• Keeps kitchen surfaces and equipment clean and sanitary.
• Ensures all food storage areas are organized and clean.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Prepares and cooks food, ensuring attractive plate presentation
• Possess complete knowledge of menu and recipes, including preparation procedures, plating, garnishment, portions size and presentation / special handling instructions
• Maintains first in / first out inventory controls and dates all incoming products
• Keeps the lines and storage stocked with all items and utensils needed for service
• Maintains a clean kitchen by cleaning all work surfaces used in food preparation on an ongoing basis, as well as the kitchen equipment used daily
• Maintains all food storage areas, dry and refrigerated, organized and clean
