Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Cook to support our Food & Beverage team in a hotel setting. You will prepare, season, and cook food for guests and events while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate enjoys a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in precise food preparation, and contributes to a clean, guest-focused operation. Flexible scheduling, strong teamwork, and adherence to franchise standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow recipes and safety rules.
• Experience with basic kitchen sanitation practices is preferred.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare soups, salads, gravies, sauces, desserts, meats, fish, vegetables and other items per recipes and standards.
• Review menus and forecast sheets to estimate food needs and retrieve items from storage.
• Operate ovens, broilers, grills, roasters, steam kettles and other equipment safely.
• Measure, mix, bake, roast, broil, steam, and plate food to meet menu specs.
• Ensure proper portions and neat presentation of dishes.
• Maintain clean and stocked cook line; follow sanitation procedures and safety policies.
