Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring for a full-time Trash Technician at Baptist Hospital EVS in Pensacola, FL. The role collects, transports, and disposes of trash and bio-hazardous waste following safety protocols; operates cleaning equipment as assigned; and contributes to a clean, safe hospital environment.

The schedule is 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm with days varying. Must have physical ability to lift 50–100 pounds and English language comprehension.

Qualifications

Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
Prior cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
Performs other duties as assigned.
