Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Trash Technician at Baptist Beaumont Hospital in Beaumont, TX. The role involves collecting, transporting, and disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

The position requires physical ability to lift 50–100 pounds and to follow written and oral instructions in English. Prior cleaning experience is preferred. Schedule is Sunday–Saturday, 9:00 pm to 5:30 am, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Prior cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
