Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring a Trash Technician for the Baptist Beaumont Hospital in Beaumont, TX. The full-time night shift runs Sunday through Saturday, 9:00 pm to 5:30 am, with a fixed pay rate of $12.50 per hour.

Prior cleaning experience is preferred and training is offered. Responsibilities include collecting and disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials following safety protocols, operating cleaning equipment, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
