Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Floor Technician at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, FL. The role runs full time with a night shift (9:00 pm–5:30 am) and rotating weekends.

A fixed pay rate of $16.00 per hour is offered, with benefits for full- and part-time employees. The Floor Technician will perform floor maintenance and restoration, operate industrial floor care equipment, and support various floor surfaces while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care technician experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface.
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
