Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring immediately for a full-time Trash Technician at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA. The role focuses on safe handling, transport, and disposal of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

The schedule is full time with two shifts, 8:00 am–4:30 pm and 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, with days varying. Candidates with prior cleaning experience and the physical ability to lift 50–100 pounds are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Prior cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
